Understanding Expedite Recommendations

What is the Expedite Recommendation?

The expedite recommendation is an additional recommendation that is provided in RestockAMZ, only when products are expected to go out of stock before the estimated arrival of your next scheduled shipment into Amazon. This recommendation is the quantity you need to expedite to Amazon to eliminate the probability of the product going out of stock. 

For example, if a product has an estimated out-of-stock date of January 1st and the next shipment is estimated to arrive February 1st, the Expedite Recommendation will provide you with the restock quantity needed to cover January 1st to February 1st. 

How do I enable the Expedite Recommendation? 

The Expedite Recommendation is based on your estimated receive date from each shipment. The estimated receive date is found on the Manage Shipments page. If you created your FBA shipment in RestockAMZ, the estimated receive date is automatically added based on the lead time set for the supplier or warehouse. If you created shipments outside of RestockAMZ, no estimated receive date will be shown automatically, so expedite recommendations will not be able to be calculated. For the Expedite Recommendation to function for shipments created outside of RestockAMZ, you will need to add an estimated receive date in Manage Shipments for each shipment. 

Where Do I find the Expedite Recommendation?

The expedite recommendation will be shown on the Restock Recommendations page. Above the grid is a large button that says "Expedite Recommendation". If this button is red, it means you have products that will go out of stock before the next shipment's arrival. Click on the button to enable the expedite recommendations. The Expedite Recommendation button will turn blue when enabled, and will automatically filter products with an expedited recommendation quantity. 

The recommendations will appear at the bottom of your regular recommendations column. Just like the other recommended quantities, you can use the arrows or the checkbox in the column header to "select all" and add the expedited quantities to a new FBA shipment. 

If there are no Expedite Recommendations at this time, the Expedite Recommendation button will be grey.
