AMZ Repricing helps sellers automatically adjust product prices on Amazon within configured pricing limits. By defining minimum and maximum prices and enabling stockout prevention, users can stay competitive, protect margins, and respond proactively to inventory risks without manual price changes.
This guide explains how AMZ Repricing works, what actions users can take, how to view pricing logic, and which items are eligible to use this feature.
👉 Learn how AMZ Items Repricing works and how to configure it here.
How AMZ Repricing Works
Before using the AMZ Repricing feature, a forecast must be run first. The forecast allows the system to calculate inventory-related data, such as stockout risk and replenishment timing, so AMZ Repricing can generate accurate price recommendations.
If no forecast data is available yet, the system displays a notice asking users to run the forecast before using this feature.
AMZ Repricing automatically updates item prices based on inventory conditions and configured price limits. Each item can be configured with:
- Min Price — minimum allowed price
- Max Price — maximum allowed price
When repricing is enabled, the system uses these limits to calculate and apply new prices.
Depending on your configuration, the system can help reduce stockout risk by adjusting prices when an item is expected to run out of stock before the next restock date.
Note: AMZ Repricing is only available for Amazon-synced items. Manually created items are not eligible, ensuring all repricing calculations are based on accurate Amazon inventory, velocity, and pricing data.
How Amazon Repricing Solves It
AMZ Repricing helps users:
- Automatically calculate suggested prices using Amazon-synced data
- Review pricing formulas and calculation inputs, so users understand exactly how prices are calculated
- Help reduce stockout risk when projected stockout dates occur before expected restock dates
- Keep users in control by requiring manual confirmation before syncing prices to Amazon
- Support bulk updates to efficiently manage pricing at scale
- Applies only to Amazon-synced items, ensuring accurate and reliable pricing decisions
How to Use AMZ Repricing
With AMZ Repricing, you can:
- View Suggested Prices and review the pricing calculation formula
- Sync approved prices to Amazon using Sync to Amazon
- View item price history with Changes Log
- Update prices in bulk for multiple SKUs
- Review bulk update history and revert uploads with History Logs
View Suggested Prices and Pricing Formula
To view the repricing details of an item, navigate to the AMZ Items Repricing section. Locate the Suggested Price ($) column, then click the Sync icon to open repricing details for the selected item.
If the Suggested Price ($) column is not currently visible, click the three-dot menu
at the top of the table to manage visible columns. From the column list, find Suggested Price ($) and enable it to unhide the column. Once the column is visible, you can click the Sync icon to access the repricing details for any eligible item.
In the repricing detail view, users can review the suggested price, along with the percentage increase or decrease compared to the previous price. From the same view, users can open the pricing details popup to review the pricing formula, including all inputs used in the calculation. This transparency helps users understand why a specific price is suggested before deciding whether to sync it to Amazon.
Sync Prices to Amazon (Sync to Amazon)
After reviewing the suggested price, users can choose to sync the new price to Amazon by clicking Sync to Amazon. A confirmation popup appears before the update is submitted. Once confirmed, the system syncs the updated price to Amazon, and a success message is shown to confirm the update. Please note that it may take up to 15 minutes for the new price to appear on Amazon. If the user cancels the action, no price changes are applied.
View item price history with Changes Log
To track the price changes of the items, navigate to the AMZ Items Repricing section where your product list is displayed. Locate the Changes Log column, then click the log icon for the corresponding item to open the details.
If the Changes Log column is not currently visible, click the three-dot menu
at the top of the table to manage displayed columns. From the column list, find Changes Log and enable it to unhide the column. Once the column is visible, you can click to view the log details
The Repricing Log provides a complete history of pricing changes for each item. By opening the log, users can view the date and time of each change, a snapshot of inventory and pricing data such as sales velocity, inventory, and Floor and Ceiling prices at the time of the change, as well as a description explaining what was updated and why.
Bulk Repricing for Multiple SKUs
To update multiple SKU prices at once, users can use Bulk Repricing. This feature allows syncing suggested prices for multiple SKUs at once, either by selecting items directly in the table or by uploading a file containing the SKUs.
- In the AMZ Items Repricing section, select one or more eligible SKUs from the product list. Users click Bulk update suggested pricing to open a confirmation popup. Once confirmed, the system syncs the suggested prices for all selected SKUs to Amazon and displays a success message. If the user cancels the action, no changes are applied.
- For large catalogs, users can also update prices by uploading a file containing multiple SKUs. To do this, first prepare a file containing the SKUs you want to update. Select the Upload Prices option from Bulk Management dropdown. After uploading the file and confirming the action, the system will process all SKUs in the file and sync their suggested prices to Amazon based on the configured repricing rules. If any SKUs in the file are not eligible for AMZ Repricing, the system will skip those entries and display the processing results.
Review History Logs and Revert Updates
To review previous bulk price uploads, navigate to AMZ Items Repricing > Recommendations and click Upload History.
A side drawer opens from the right side of the screen without navigating away from the current page.
The drawer displays all pricing update records for the selected company, sorted with the most recent first. Each record includes:
- Updated date and time
- Actor information
- Total affected SKU count
- Update result summary
- Current status
Available statuses include:
- Applying— Request is processing
- Applied — Prices were successfully updated on Amazon
- Reverting — Revert request is processing
- Reverted — Original prices were successfully restored
Users can filter the history list using the search keyword, status filter, and date range.
To view pricing update details, click a record to open the detail popup. The popup displays affected SKUs, previous and updated prices, and update results for each SKU.
To revert a pricing update, click Revert, then click Revert SKUs to confirm. The system submits the revert request and the status updates to Reverting while original prices are being restored on Amazon. Once completed, the status updates to Reverted.
Note: The Revert button is disabled when the status is Reverting or Reverted.
