We have enhanced the design of the Registration page.
🔔 Item Detail
We have added a new design for the Item Detail in Items. With the new icon, you can now view an item’s forecast, sales, inventory and restock recommendations in one place, so you can review everything you need before deciding on your next step.
Where do I find Item Detail?
- Go to Items.
- Click the Item Detail icon on the item you want to review.
What will I see?
At the top, the header shows the SKU, its inventory status (for example, Out of stock), and the key settings: Supplier, Lead time, Case pack and MOQ. From here you can also copy the SKU, open it in Item management, or Export its data.
Below the header, a recommended action banner tells you what to do next. For example, if the item is out of stock, the banner shows when it ran out, when new stock would arrive if you order today, and how many units to order, with a Create PO button so you can act right away.
Item Detail contains three tabs:
1. Forecast and settings
Use this tab to review the demand forecast of the item and its settings.
- Monthly forecast chart: Displays units sold by month for the past 4 years, plus 1 year of forecast.
- Item settings: Displays the settings for the item, including service level, order interval, case pack, MOQ, supplier and lead time. Click Edit to change them.
2. Purchasing details
Use this tab to see how the item has been selling, when to order, and where your stock is.
- Recent sales: Displays units sold and the average units per day over recent time windows.
- Key dates: Displays the recommended order date, the date the item ran out, and the date stock arrives if you order today, based on the current forecast and your lead time.
- Inventory by location: Displays everything you have or have ordered for this SKU, at Amazon (such as FBA, FBM, inbound and transferring) and other locations (such as your warehouse, AWD and open POs).
- Forecast inputs: Displays what the forecast for this SKU is built from, including total months of sales history used and whether backfill or manual overrides have been applied.
3. Restock calculation (only ASC Company)
Use this tab to understand how the recommended quantities are calculated.
- How the PO quantity is calculated: The recommendation takes the weighted sales rate × days of cover, then subtracts the stock available now and the quantity already on PO. The result is rounded up to full cases.
- Weighted sales rate: For periods with frequent stockouts, an adjusted rate may be used to estimate demand as if the item had always been available. Choose how the weights are applied:
- Enable Use adjusted rates to apply your custom weights from RestockAMZ Daily Sales Rate Settings. Click Edit weights to adjust them.
- Enable Distribute daily sales rate weights to in-stock periods to use the weights automatically calculated by the system.
- The weighted sales rate changes based on the option you choose, and the recommended quantities update with it.
- Days of cover: Defines the total coverage period for the order, calculated as the target FBA inventory coverage (your ideal number of days of FBA stock) plus the supplier lead time.
- Available now: Shows the inventory currently available across Amazon FBA, your warehouse, and AWD.
- Buy from supplier: Displays the recommended purchase order quantity and the corresponding number of full cases to order.
- Send to Amazon: Displays the recommended quantity to restock FBA inventory from your warehouse.
